Air Optix Night & Day contact lenses have been designed to allow continuous wear day and night for up to 30 days. Traditionally, the constraint on wearing contact lenses during sleeping hours was that not enough oxygen would be tranmitted to the eye. As a result of the material that Air Optix Night & Day is made from (Lotrafilcon A) up to six times more oxygen can be transmitted to the eye whilst wearing this lens versus traditional soft lenses. The wearing schedule for this lens will vary for individual patients so please follow your Optician's directions closely. Air Optix Night and Day lenses are designed for replacement every month.
